The Inter-Club Team Race Championship Trophy |

In 1982, Mike McGuire initiated the concept of sponsoring a TEAM RACE for all DRYA member clubs. Each DRYA member club is invited to enter four sailboats in the race, each of which will compete in one of four starts. The score from each yachts finishing position is counted toward a combined score for their team. The teams are then ranked accordingly to determine top honors. This annual event, officially known as the "Inter-Club Team Championship Race" has continued to bring out the "Best of the Best" racers from each club. LSSC has enjoyed great respect throughout the sailing community for hosting this Regatta. Moreover, this event has been a tribute to our members for their untiring efforts to work together in making it a success each year. The cup winners through the years are: |
