The United States Sailing Association

Sportsmanship Award

The US Sailing Association Sportsmanship Award was inaugurated in 1986 as part of US Sailing's program to encourage sportsmanship at every level of the sport of sailing and sailboat racing. Local clubs and sailing organizations name one of their members to receive the Sportsman of the Year award. In recognition of this honor, the USSA provides a perpetual trophy to member clubs and individual awards to recipients. As an active racing club with many members who have contributed greatly to area racing at all levels, Lake Shore Sail Club is pleased to recognize the following members for their outstanding contribution to sportsmanship in sailing and sailboat racing. We are all honored to have them as members.
